Device Compatibility

The budsock® works with all Apple® earbud style headphones. This includes earbuds that ship with all standard iPhone®, iPod® (including shuffle, classic, nano, and touch models).

Just about any earbuds that are a similar size and shape to the standard Apple earbuds should work, too. Many of the popular models of earbuds from Bose® Shure®, Sony®, and Philips® work, too.

There are plenty of earbuds, however, that (unfortunately) do not work with the budsock®. Here are the questions you should ask yourself when considering whether or not the budsock® will work for you:

• Are the actual earbuds on the end of the wires about the same size as the standard Apple earbuds, or are they larger? If they are too much larger, they may not work.
• Do the earbuds have a built-in microphone? If so, is it too large to fit through the bottom opening of the budsock®? Some manufacturers include a microphone on the earbud wire that is simply too large to slide through the bottom opening of the budsock®.

If you still aren’t sure, simply email us the manufacturer name and model of your earbuds and we will let you know whether or not they’ll work with the budsock®.
